Camping is available at the Walpole RV camp, best entered from Walpole St.
You must be self-contained to stay as there are no facilities.
There is one drinking water tap and a covered area with table and seats.
In this area you will find a receipt box that the council ask you to leave your receipts in to see if travellers are supporting town.

The town has a variety of murals showing the town’s history. There is also an information centre/museum which provides information on the two town walks and a number of different drives about the area.
There is a rotunda in town that has a book exchange and two well stocked supermarkets. Great butcher and a bakery. At night the glow of the power station can be seen from far away. The Camp Oven Festival is held every October.
Horses for neighbours and about 50 metre walk to the painted water tanks.
