A beautiful and historic hotel, built in 1902

It has a unique facade, from certain angles

This is a beautiful old building with camping out the back by arrangement.
No charge to hotel patrons

24hr toilets available if required - ask the publican for details
Power may be available for an extra cost.

Terry the publican is very helpful and a happy guy, he will welcome you with open arms

Did you know they have a Whiskey Bar?
Very luxurious, moody and sophisticated.
What a great way to spend a few hours

There's regular entertainment, tasty meals and friendly locals.
What more could you ask for?

About 90 km east of Charters Towers, Ravenswood was once a thriving gold mining town.
Ravenswood once boasted over 50 pubs and had a population of over 4000. Today it has decreased to around 100

It is reputed to be haunted, and if you locate the right people, a ghost tour may be possible.

The Railway Hotel is Heritage listed, as is the whole township
