The Portland Golf Club

This is a friendly pub in a small town in NSW, 24km from Lithgow via Pipers Flat Road.
It's just a 40 min drive to the bustling town of Bathurst so this is a great place to base yourself for some R & R

The club is currently open Fridays and Sundays (Jan 2023) but plan to open more days in the near future

ONSITE CAMPING:

There is onsite camping for the cost of green fees (see link)
This covers the club per insurance requirements.
An honesty box is available.

24 hour toilets available with a code which will be given to you on checking in. Showers may be available for a small fee.

The club does not want to run the hot water system 24h because of the cost, so a forward request would be helpful

Camping is still available when the club is closed.
There is a large area to park up on in the top car park.
Pets permitted, and can even accompany you on your round of golf.

There is no time limit to the camping here; at the discretion of club management

They have a nine hole course with sand greens
$10 per player for as many holes as you want to play.

Widely regarded as the most challenging sand green course in NSW, Portland's beautiful undulating 9-hole course offers an experience not to be missed.
This 9-hole course has 18 tees, plus women's tees.
A combination of traditional links and parkland elements gives the golfer a truly enjoyable game.

The club is struggling to continue financially it is all maintained by volunteers so please leave your donation in the honesty box or at the club.
