An historic pub, with magical views overlooking the beautiful Huon River.
The pub has a bistro that is renowned in town as serving great food.
Both bar and bistro are open 7 days a week from 11.30 until late, with all day dining.

Naomie-Clark Port and her husband Tony Port founded Franks Cider Company in 2012, creating award winning ciders from the fruits of their family owned Woodside orchard.
Woodside was established in 1836 by Naomie's forebear John Clark.
Today their shop front cellar door not only sells fine food and award winning ciders, but also local craft beers and wines.
A perfect place to wile away the hours eating and drinking, and if your timing is right, listening to featured musos.
You can also book to go on orchard tours.
Frank's Cider House & Cafe is open 7 days from 10.00am to late afternoon, with all day dining

Franklin
Franklin is a small, historic town which lies 45 kilometres south west of Hobart, between the Huon River and the hills of the famed Huon Valley.

'Great camping spot right on the Huon River, with clean toilets, free bbqs, garbage bins, level sites, drinking water and a dump point.
All moneys go to the restoration of the local Palais Theatre
Extra information
An easy walk to the main street, the Reserve also has a children’s playground and fires are permitted (when legal to do so) - in off the ground fire pots only - please check with caretaker before lighting.
The campsite is leased off the council and run by the Palais Theatre community group, with fees collected by the appointed caretaker.
Parking is limited to a maximum of six (6) nights, and is restricted to self-contained RVs and Vans only
Tent based camping is prohibited (a council requirement).
