The Hilltop Hotel
A large, flat, grassed camping area, directly alongside the hotel,
is available for self-contained RVs
No tent-based camping is possible.
Head into the bar upon arrival.
Please support the hotel by venturing into the bar for a drink or two.
The camp area is on a lovely grassy spot behind the pub., with nice views of the rural countryside.
The Hilltop Hotel in Omeo is a great place to stay, eat and drink.
Old-fashioned country hospitality and great value meals.
Clean grounds and facilities; it is a nicely renovated pub.
Local council requirement is that you must NOT drop any grey water.
An interesting fact: The hotel became the local hospital for a period when the hospital burnt down. Built in 1938.
Omeo is in the east Gippsland High Country.
It is a very good spot to base yourself for a few days while exploring the surrounding countryside.
