Willow Tree Bowling Club

Willow Tree is on the New England Hwy
between Scone & Quirindi /  Tamworth in NSW.

The club burnt down a few years ago but now has been completely rebuilt.

A short walk from the Recreation Grounds camping area , and serving ice  cold beverages and beer on tap.

Fridays from 4.30pm for now.
This may extend in the future.

 The Willow Tree campsite is a very short distance away, provided by Liverpool Plains Shire Council

There are powered sites available for a low cost  payable at the Liverpool Plains Visitor Information Centre in Willow Tree.

Unpowered sites are by donation.
Hot showers available.

There is a donation box at the entry to the Rec Ground.
All donations will be used to maintain and upgrade this facility.

The closest dump point is at Quirindi, a short drive away

Willow Tree is becoming a destination town.
The Willow Tree Inn is nearby - just over 1km from the camping area.

The Graze restaurant is your go-to for a delicious meal.

Serving restaurant-quality meals, and having won multiple awards for both meals and venue

The meats are grown on their own farm and you must try the local ale too

There is a gourmet food takeaway, gift shops and coffee shops in town.

Luxurious accommodation at the hotel for those not camping

Directions From Murrurundi
- First Turn to your left onto the Merriwa road to go over the railway line,
turn right at the T-intersection,
Then left at the next T-intersection the follow the road around for about 2km. 

From Quirindi
- Drive Through Willow Tree, Turn right onto the Merriwa road to go over the railway line,
Turn Right at the T-intersection
and then Left at the next T-intersection and follow the road around for about 2km.
