Low cost camping, fees collected by a caretaker

An unusual addition to the grounds is an Observatory. Members of the local club occasionally hold a dark sky night which visitors may be able to attend 

The showground is walking distance to town.
There is also a bowling club but this is open only for bowling events 

A supermarket, cafes, fuel, hardware, pharmacy, bakery are all in town.  
Lake Hume is nearby if you want boating or fishing activities
The showground is on a rail trail which is well used.

Every Saturday morning the Tallangatta Fun Run is held - run walk or dawdle - it's a great way to meet people. Meet at the old Rail Station
