Underbool Bowling Club, Underbool VIC

Underbool is a small but delightful rural community on the Mallee Highway between Ouyen and Murrayville in North West Victoria. Gateway to the Pink Lakes country and the Murray-Sunset National Park

The Underbool pub shut down for financial reasons a few years back. It's still shut - but some of the local folk decided they needed a place to gather in the evenings to share a beer and some mateship. Underbool Bowling Club Reservoir Road Bar open 4.30 - 6pm daily Very limited hours and no meals currently (Jan 2022)

You can camp behind the local park. There are modern toilets and showers. A small cost to camp, includes power if required, donation for unpowered Look for the power box close to the facilities. A small cost for a hot shower. Potable water available. Tent-based camping  is permitted Generators are permitted Donation box at the front of the facility. The Recreation Ground on Gnarr Road also has camping available All the above amenities are available here

You will find the club across the rail line from the pub. It's an easy walk. Don't be late or you may miss out!

There is a tiny general store across from the park. It is open about 4 hrs a day and run by dedicated and friendly volunteers. A PO sub-branch and a police station, as well as fuel & a swimming pool is in Underbool .

It's a shame the pub has closed as it's an impressive building and on the market so there's still hope.

Call in and rest in Underbool overnight. Spend some money in town to support the local community who make a fine effort to continually improve their habitat.
