Camping:
Edgell Park is the 24hr free camp at the western end of the bridge.
Apart from tables, there are no facilities at the campsite so self-contained vehicles only.
Please retain/ capture grey water

The overnight free park is a large sealed car park with toilets across the road. (Western end of bridge).
You may  share this are with trucks
Dump site at the amenities block of Edgell Park, 500m from bridge towards Boorowa.
It may be difficult for some larger rigs to access the dump point as it is partially surrounded by a fence


Alternatively, it is a 5 minute walk to the Showground RV park, in Showgrounds Lane, whichever takes your fancy.

Showgrounds caravan camping park (5min) consists of basic facilities being showers, toilets.
Laundry (taps and tubs, no washing machines )

Powered or unpowered drive thru sites.
Visitors are requested to contact the caretaker before arriving and obtain permission before entering the site.

Fuel adjacent.
Murals on bridge supports.
Be sure to see the hologram showing the Japanese prison breakout at the visitors centre.

Buy a bottle of the superb local wine whilst at the Visitors Centre

Being at the bottom end of the Main Street so allowing a gentle walk to other pubs, clubs (Bowling or Services) and restaurants .

An ideal base to see Cowra's many attractions.
Be sure to visit the beautiful  Japanese Gardens and Wyangala dam.

Cowra is a fabulous town to visit and will need several days to explore all it has to offer
