The Lions Club camping area is in Wasley Road, right next-door to a football club and a short walk to a bowling club.
It is perfect for that stop off when travelling between destinations.
Mallala Camping Ground has re-opened after an upgrade in 2020.
It is run by Mallala Lions Club and all profits are returned to the community.

Mallala is approximately 50 kms from Adelaide and approximately 19 kms to the nearest beach.
Mallala is a small country township with a population of approximately 900 people. It is primarily a farming district and is well known for the sports motor park which is located just a few kilometres from the township.
The sports motor park was originally an airfield base during WWII and a memorial to the men and women from the District who fought in the war can be found in the main street just opposite the Hotel.Across the road from the hotel, you can also find a very informative museum and is well worth a look.
