Lyrup Community Club Inc.- Lyrup

Located on the banks of the River Murray approximately 267 k North/ East of Adelaide.

Accessible by free 24-hour ferry service.

Across from the ferry is the Murray River National Park - Lyrups Flats section - this is one of the few National Parks in the country that allows dogs 

Lyrup was established in 1894 by the SA Government as the creation of the communal land system, and after all these years it still maintains a communal land system.

It has a communal club, that is the hub of the town, where visitors are most welcome to join in with the locals and enjoy a cold drink and a meal.

The clubs opening hours are
Friday 3 pm.
Sat 11 am
Sunday 4 pm.
Tuesday.  Wednesday and Thursday 4pm.
Closed Mondays

Meals are served Thursday through to Saturday. 
Only evening meals are available

Camping is alongside the River Murray only a short walk to the Club.

Powered (4 sites only)  or unpowered, grassed sites, flushing toilets, bins, picnic tables, a boat ramp to launch that tinny or kayak

Please contain grey water, no fires.

A small fee is charged to stay here

Lyrup is central to Berri 15k, Renmark 20 k, Loxton 25k and Barmera 30 k.

Lyrup is a lovely little town with a small convenience store and a great historical walk around town.
