The pub was transported to the site, prefabricated, all the way from Canada. It has an impressive stone fireplace with room to sit around and discuss the days events
There is a caravan park out the back of the pub
Cost for camping
No water to hook up so be sure you have carried enough
The pub food is great with variety and well-priced
The owner is currently renovating the older buildings from the early 1900s on the site.
The Ghan still goes through the town but sadly does not stop any more. It will be a sight to see on the days it travels through.
Glendambo is a town located on the Stuart Highway about 592 kilometres from Adelaide and about 254 kilometres from Coober Pedy.
It is likely to be 4 X 4 vehicles at times Please check road conditions before travelling
