The Black Stump Hotel at Trunkey Creek had closed in mid 2017 but has been purchased by two couples who have reopened, much to the delight of the locals.
Come in and meet Brett, Morgan, Andrew and Michelle.
Although the bistro is not open yet, there are home made pies and sausage rolls as well as other delights.
The kitchen will be in operation a bit later in 2017 with a more extensive menu.
This is a family-friendly pub and they are having a go.

It's about 50km South of Bathurst NSW on the Trunkey Rd
This is an old gold mining town in the Bathurst Shire.
It has been renamed 'Trunkey' but the locals still prefer it to be called by it's original name.
The town holds a wool festival annually in October
