Watheroo Station Tavern
Watheroo is a small town situated roughly half way between Perth and Geraldton on the scenic part of the Midlands road.

The old locomotive station, which is one of only two left standing in Western Australia, and the railway station are all that remains of the siding which dates back to the 1980's.

A great location in wildflower season.

There is a cost for camping, but if you partake of a meal there is no charge
No bookings taken
There are also motel-style rooms

The tavern is the town' s community post office, as well as being the local pub.
They serve delicious meals daily.
For the sportsperson, Watheroo claims one of the best bush style golf courses in Western Australia,

What a wonderful night we have had. Pull up and there are a couple of power poles that you can use for free if you have a meal at the pub there are toilets and showers that are available all the time. We both had a steak sandwich I think was called Ben’s choice. Scotch fillet bacon egg onion sauce it was amazing. There chips were great. Great price. Beer and wine not bad prices for WA. If in the area worth a stop it us a community run pub and very friendly
