Werrimul, Victoria (home of Victoria’s most outback pub!)first caught our attention when we saw a photo of their War Memorial.
They’ve included a nurse with the sevicemen!
As a retired nurse, it’s heartening to see women include more & more ♥️
We parked up at the donation camp across the road from the pub (toilet, cold shower) We wandered over to pub and from our first – of possibly too many – drinks, we felt like one of the locals .
Father & son own the pub & the son is a chef.
Very busy restaurant.
Top feed, top company from locals and travellers.
All up another great pub
Large free camping opposite the pub
Food very good
Hospitality of the staff couldn’t have been better
Highly recommended
Toilet on campsite
Coin donation as the locals maintain the toilets and campsite
Stayed at the free camp (donations accepted) across from the Werrimull Pub 18/10/24. There is a new owner that took over 3 months ago. He is doing lots of upgrades to the pub. He is a really nice guy and he, and his staff are very welcoming. Good cold beer, good selection of wines and spirits and a very good dining room with a great and varied menu. (Publican’ s son is the chef). Well worth the visit. Lots of space to camp.
