The Valley Sports Bar
Located at New Norfolk, Tasmania - 32 kilometres north-west of Hobart on the Lyell Highway in the Derwent Valley, and in close vicinity of the Mount Field National Park .
Open daily, it has a Sports Bar and Bistro (including a wood fired pizza oven), and a large area for patron camping.
It was originally the social rooms of the New Norfolk Football Club, however is now an independently managed public bar and bistro open seven days a week.
Ideally situated in the heart of New Norfolk, it not far from the Derwent River and the main areas of the town.

ONSITE CAMPING
The Valley Sports Bar has large grounds, and offers 'no-cost' onsite camping for patrons with RVs, Vans, Tents, Trailer Campers and Car Roof-Top Campers - but, you must have your own sealed RV type toilet, as there are no facilities available after hours.
Fires are not permitted.
The camping area is a large flat gravelled and grassed parking/camping area - the gates are locked after hours at night.
Please see the bar staff before setting up.
A Dump Point is nearby (1.5 kms), in Page Ave (near corner of Ferry Street) - padlocked 7.00pm - 7.30am.

We dropped in for a few days and while we missed the pizza nights we had a great time with the locals
