The dining room is beautifully appointed and the hosts, Beth and Garth are proud of their classic country pub menu.
Enjoy sitting outdoors under the verandah on those balmy nights.
The locals are friendly too. Always a bonus when you can find out about the local area from those who know it best.
Definitely dog friendly.

Mount Macedon is just 50km away and there's lots to see on day trips, using this as your base.
Note: This hotel is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays unless it is a public holiday

If the ground is dry it’s ideal to camp beside pub but during wetter months parking is available opposite the pub where there are toilets located.
Meals are always delicious, creatively presented and often a bit different.
It’s a lovely area to explore too, close to Heathcote and Lake Eppalock.
