Fox Trap Roadhouse Located between Charleville and Quilpie.

Free camp behind roadhouse and beside the creek.

Toilets and coin-operated showers.
Tent-based camping permitted

In its heyday, Cooladdi boasted a school, butcher shop, post office, store and police station accommodating 270 residents.

Today the town only lays claim to a population of 2, with most services offered by the roadhouse.
However there is no fuel here anymore.

Quilberry Creek where the camp is located is a great spot to do some fishing, go swimming or yabbying.

Cooladdi Foxtrap gets its name from past owner Bob Fox
( Bob loved a yarn - legend has it that you would call in for a drink and  leave two days later! - hence the name "Cooladdi Foxtrap").

Although Bob is no longer there the locals today are just as friendly and love a yarn.

Very satisfying meals and soft drinks/alcohol available at roadhouse.
