"Gular" for short, Gulargambone is  47kms south of Coonamble along the banks of the Castlereagh River.

Meaning 'Watering hole for many Galahs' in the local Aboriginal language, it is famous for
its corrugated tin Galahs, which act as welcoming signposts into town.

THE BULLOCKY sculpture, created entirely from wire, is an amazing, life sized structure for a memorable photo-opportunity

The town is full of artworks, and the river walk has even more sculptures for you to discover

Pay a visit to the 2828 Information Centre and gift shop - cafe.
Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 2pm

There is also a really nice caravan park in town if you need more amenities.
