Betoota is just an easy 16hr drive west of Brisbane, very comfortable over 2 days, roughly between Windorah and Birdsville, bang smack in the middle of Betoota you will find a little watering hole, that's the Betoota Hotel.

Robbo and his mates that look after their visitors are absolute gems.

The work that has been put into this place to get it up and running must have been phenomenal.

Camp around the hotel or down by the creek where you can catch yourself some yabbies or yellow belly Bring your recreational toys along for some fun in the Outback.

You can also pay a low price and will be given a cot/camp bed to sleep on the verandah if you are not camping

There is generally camp oven meals and damper by the fire, each evening during Happy Hour - and long afterwards too.

In these hard times, Robbo & his team still crack a joke, look after their visitors and treat you to an experience that you wouldn't find at most places.
