On the Warrego Hwy between Charleville and Mitchell.

Congratulations to the co-op of locals at Morven who almost  4½  years after their local pub was destroyed by fire have joined forces to save the fabric of their town. Sadleirs Waterhole Hotel license has been reinstated and it's all system GO!

Four years ago the town pub burned to the ground, taking with it the Community Hub and meeting place. A very sad day.
But down the track the  new hotel has risen from the ashes,
The Sadleirs Waterhole.
Built on the same spot the previous hotel stood for 80 years.

Eight local families have formed a cooperative, used their own funds and  have rebuilt the pub. What a coup for the town, district and travellers.

Open air deck and lush green lawn are a great place to take a break on your outback trip
They also offer accommodation at the motel next door to the hotel.

A short stroll to the pub is the showground where you can base yourself for up to seven days, and tour Morven and surrounding towns.

Powered sites, water, toilets and hot showers.
Cost for camping is applicable.
Look for the donation box
Non campers may use the facilities for a donation
Dump point, pet friendly and fires ok in your own fire pit.

The IGA supermarket has reopened and there is a café/gift shop as well as a motel near the pub
