Oodnadatta is home to both the
Pink Roadhouse and the Transcontinental Hotel.

Located 200km north east of Coober Pedy, and around 200km north west of William Creek on the unsealed Oodnadatta Track.

The Transcontinental Hotel
is an iconic outback pub offering counter meals, cold drinks and a pool table. Famous for its Sunday roasts.

Rooms are available with shared facilities.

Camping is available at the Oodnadatta Public Camp less than 250m away,

Public toilets are available in town and showers are available at the hotel for a small fee

Dump Point .

The Pink Roadhouse
A great little roadside stop on the with a Caravan Park, onsite accommodation, fuel, vehicle and tyre repairs, clothing, groceries and camping supplies, hot and cold food plus of course a range of beers, wines and spirits.

Famous for the Oodnaburger, whilst the menu changes according to supply, you’ll find Kangaroo and Camel on the menu too.

 An iconic outback roadhouse, with a large dining and bar area, beer garden.

Opening hours are 8am to 7pm.

You can camp out the back, for a fee, or head 500m down the road to the Oodnadatta Free Camp

There are a variety of powered and non-powered sites plus camp kitchen with water hookup available and a nearby drinking water station.


Camping in tents is also allowed and pets are permitted.
