Marrawah Inn
821 Comeback Road, Marrawah
The close knit community of Marrawah is a small township in the North West Coast of Tasmania, midway between Smithton and Arthur River.
Marrawah is renowned for its' rich farmland and dairying industry.
It is also famous for having one of the top three surf beaches in Tasmania, Green Point Beach, which is renown for its big swells and for hosting the Rip Curl West Coast Classic surfing contest.
Beautiful Green Point Beach is only 2.5 kilometres from the Marrawah Inn.
Apart from the Marrawah Inn, Marrawah also has a combined General Store,
Post Office and Service Station.
Marrawah Inn
As in many small country towns, the local pub, the Marrawah Inn, is the welcoming hub for locals, and tourists alike.
It was originally constructed as a boarding house and general store in 1913, and first gained a liquor licence about 1925.
Present owners, Mark and Michelle, bought the Inn in September 2021, and have embarked on a series of improvements since.
The Inn has a bar, cafe and bistro which are open seven days a week from morning until late, and importantly, onsite RV and Van parking for patrons - read more detail in the dedicated section below.
The Inn's “Black Bull Bistro” is open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
Enjoy their signature Cape Grim steak dish and their mouthwatering Tasmanian scallops (see photos).
The Cafe is open from 9.00 am Monday to Saturday, and 10.30 am on Sundays for light breakfast and delicious coffee.
Barista coffee is available for dine in, or takeaway options.
Live music is featured. To keep up to date with the current opening hours for the Inn's Bar, Cafe and Bistro, or other events,
go to the Marrawah Inn
Facebook Page, Instagram or website.
It is always hard to go past great reviews:
"What an amazing little pub!! The people running the Marrawah Inn are hard working, beautiful, kind and thoughtful souls! The food is delicious and the serving size huge! We were lucky enough to eat several meals here, and they do take away. We also had the great fortune of listening to the band on Sunday night, the pub was full.
Thank you Mark and Shelley and staff and to all the lovely locals that made us feel welcome."

"Awesome meal, at the Marrawah Inn, camping available."

Onsite RV & Van Parking
Onsite parking for patrons with self-contained RVs and Vans is available on a hardstand area behind the pub, at a LOW cost per vehicle, per night
[includes a voucher for one free drink when patronising the pub].
The RV and Van parking area is not overly large, so we suggest you give Mark and Michelle a call on:
(03) 6457 1102
to confirm availability.
Please sign in, and pay at the bar on arrival.
There are separate disabled and able bodied toilets and shower (coin-operated) available for use by patrons.
Having your own RV type toilet would be an advantage as facilities are limited in number.
There is no power or potable (drinkable) water available, however, non-drinkable water is available.
Waste and black water must be able to be retained.
Dogs on a leash are welcome, however, owners must pick up after their dog - this is strictly enforced as the pub and parking area is surrounded by a working dairy farm, and of course, for obvious hygiene reasons.
If you are unable to stay at the Marrawah Inn's onsite patron RV and Van parking area, it may be worth noting Green Point Beach is only 2.5 kilometres from the Marrawah Inn and has a small freedom campsite (first in basis).
The nearest Dump Point for black and/or waste water is situated at the end of Airey Road, Arthur River, which is about 18 kilometres away.
