Friday nights the Community Centre hold a social night commencing from 5.30pm providing bar service and meals (hamburgers, chips, etc).
Facilities include table tennis, bowls, darts and pool table.

The Bluewater Community Centre is almost 30 years old.
While the land is owned by the local council, it’s leased back to the Bluewater Community Association Inc for the use and enjoyment of all.

It was built and paid for by locals, and it always has been and always will be available for anyone that wants to use it.

It is used for refuge from floods and fires.
It is a place which has supported locals in a time of need.

NEARBY CAMPING:
Located just 300m from the Bluewater Park RV Park, which is a free, dedicated camping area run by the Townsville Council.

This is a vehicle only campsite- no tent-based camping - with 15 undefined sites available and camping permitted for up to 48 hours only.

Beautiful surrounds, open spaces, playground, picnic benches and access to Bluewater Creek from a staircase of stones.
Dogs are permitted but must remain on a leash at all times.
